It is a Mozambican NGO based in the city of Chimoio, Manica Province, founded in 2008.
Since 2008, we have reached more than 1.1 million children and adolescents in the provinces of Manica, Sofala, Zambezia and Cabo Delgado.

Our Structure

Girl Child Rights (GCR) is composed of a board of directors, and managed by a number of top management officers, including a CEO/Chief Executive Officer (based in Chimoio), and several board members for the governance of the organization.

GCR Central region

– based in Chimoio City – is our National Headquarters and provides leadership for direct program implementation across the Country, development, communications, human resources, innovation, policy, partnerships, finance and administration, and oversight of compliance and essential quality assurance. Our country offices throughout Mozambique are closely associated with GCR deChimoio, but have their own leadership.

GCR North region

—our Pemba-based operations, provide leadership for key donor relationships, geographical-specific fundraising, key regional and international policy and advocacy activities, and communications.
